Tuition is important at all stages of your learning and here at The Hub we offer instrumental tuition to meet the needs of all ages and abilities. Lessons are given in a purpose fitted rooms, which also include recording facilities and personalised learning ensures development and progression for each student.

Chris Pepper has been teaching drums in the Cambridge area since graduating from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford with a degree in Contemporary Music Performance. Chris has experience with Guildhall, Rock School & London College of Music examinations.

Introductory lessons are followed by block bookings of 5 lessons which are to be paid for in advance.

John Strong

John Strong is a South African guitar player who studied jazz at Technikon in Pretoria, SA. (BMus). He studied under Johnnie Fourie (legendary South African guitar player) and went on to have a very successful career as a performing and session musician as well as guitar coach. John until recently played with the high profile band L.A.Cobra and recorded all lead guitar parts on the full length album as well as countless other recordings for bands as well as solo artists.

Focus on technique, ear training, improvising, developing your own style, musicality, theory, arranging, and all aspects to make you a well rounded, not only guitar player, but musician.

Rock, Metal, Jazz, Blues and most styles covered.

Lessons will also cover working in a band and dealing with unforeseen issues while playing live. Gear, such as amps, guitar and effects will also be discussed.

Lessons are goal orientated and we will set some short and long term goals (within reason) to be reached.
